Who we are

Rio Cloud Solutions is the data controller forcyberpedia.dpdns.org, which it operates as CyberPedia.

Direct any privacy question, access request or complaint to the email address above. Business hours are Monday to Saturday, 9:00-19:00 IST. We aim to acknowledge within one business day and respond substantively within 30 days.

What we collect

Information you give us

  • Email address — only if you subscribe to the newsletter. Used to send the briefing and nothing else.
  • Correspondence — if you email us, we keep the message and your address so we can reply and maintain a record of corrections.

Information collected automatically

  • Analytics — aggregate page views, referrers, approximate country and device type. Used to understand which articles are useful.
  • Server logs — our hosting provider records IP addresses and request metadata for security and abuse prevention.

We do not sell personal data. We do not run behavioural advertising. We do not build cross-site profiles of readers.

Legal basis (GDPR)

  • Consent — newsletter subscription and any non-essential analytics.
  • Legitimate interests — security logging, abuse prevention and aggregate measurement of site performance.

Third parties

We rely on the following processors. Each is named so you can review its own terms.

  • GitHub Pages — hosting. Processes request metadata, including IP addresses, to serve the site and prevent abuse.
  • Google Analytics 4 — aggregate traffic measurement, configured with IP anonymisation. Google Signals is not enabled, so no cross-device advertising profile is created. See the cookie policy for the specific cookies set.
  • Google Fonts — web font delivery. Receives your IP address as a technical necessity of serving the font file. No cookie is set.

We do not sell personal data, run behavioural advertising, or build cross-site profiles of readers.

Retention

  • Newsletter addresses: until you unsubscribe, then deleted.
  • Correspondence: up to 24 months.
  • Analytics: aggregate only, retained per the provider's default.

Your rights

Under GDPR, UK GDPR and comparable regimes you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; object to or restrict processing; and request portability. Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents may request disclosure and deletion, and may opt out of sale — we do not sell data.

Exercise any of these by emailinginfo@riocloudsolutions.com. We respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS with HSTS, a Content Security Policy and modern security headers. No system is perfectly secure; report a concern via thecontact page.

Children

This site is aimed at security professionals and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
